It’s Bring Your Dog to Work Day!  We’re big fans of our four-legged friends at AJMH LIMITED, not least because research has shown that stroking a dog can lower your blood pressure and reduce the production of stress hormones, they encourage positive behaviours such as getting some gentle exercise and being out in nature, and

This week saw a large number of events, programmes and articles designed to raise awareness of mental health and mental health issues. There were some that are worth making the effort to check out if you missed them, including a Louis Theroux documentary Mothers on the Edge which looked at the issue of mental health

Dr A.J. Yates is now a Youth Mental Health First Aider having successfully completed an upskill to teach the two-day Youth Mental Health First Aid course. Once he has completed his portfolio, we will add dates for the Youth course – watch this space!

Homebase HR and Health & Safety staff from across the country converged on their head office in Milton Keynes this week to complete the two-day adult Mental Health First Aid course. It was a pleasure to teach such an open, engaged, and fun team of people, who were a credit to their organisation.
