This week saw another two-day Adult Mental Health First Aid course run in Milton Keynes – this time at the fantastic charity Hazard Alley. It was a real privilege to teach such an enthusiastic group – and they were a talented bunch, as this image to illustrate the thoughts and feelings behind anxiety shows.

Brilliant conference attended by Dr AJ Yates today. Mental Health through the Lifespan, hosted by the University of Surrey, saw speakers from a wide range of backgrounds giving their views on the latest findings on different aspects of mental health from childbirth through to old age. MHFA England have released details of their new MHFA Annual Refresher course., stating that ” We recommend that Mental Health First Aiders and MHFA Champions attend a Refresher course each year.
